My name is Rachel Juritsch. I am currently a Freshman at SUNY-ESF majoring in Sustainable Energy Management. I am interesting in creating a more Eco-friendly sustainable world. This involves the food production, processing and consumption that we encounter in our daily lives. That is why I am so dedicated to Farm to Fork.
Hi I'm Josh Badding! I'm a Freshman in Natural Resources Management at ESF. I grew up on my parents farm/garden center we're I gained my love of plants, agriculture, and the environment. I'm so interested in farm to fork because I have seen first hand what it takes to get food from a field to someones table, and how important it is that we eat locally raised food.
Hello, my name is Sonja Wixom. I transferred to SUNY ESF and am currently a Senior achieving a degree in Conservation Biology with a minor in Marine Sciences. I was raised on a black angus beef farm that also housed chickens, pigs, and horses. I have come to appreciate and strive to keep family farms and local businesses as my number one priority. Professionally, I have distinct goals of conserving land, resources, and energy; I believe we, as a nation, we can begin to meet these goals on a smaller scale - conscientious food decisions everyday.
Hi, my name is Jonathan Wright. I am a transfer student from SUNY Delhi's construction management program. I study Sustainable Construction Management Engineering at ESF to incorporate sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. So to begin I believe smart practices in food is a start. I was raised in the country near numerous farms and learned to maintain and grow crops of my as a child. I transferred due my beautiful daughter and want to build a better healthier future for her and everyone.
